The Future of the CPR Coffee Shop
Hey guys,
You may have heard the recent news that Club Penguin Rewritten is coming back this month! As of today, I have taken down everything that was related to Vintage Penguin from this blog, as it wasn't very successful. Also due to the fact that Vintage Penguin is closing pretty soon, so not really that much point about blogging about VTP as I only just started and there's barely anything to blog about now anyway.
Well, as of the future of this blog - it's not really up to me. I'm going to be stepping down and watching from the side lines, but I'll freely still be glad to help with things if needed. I'm giving this blog to the all the authors and editors who have helped hard keeping this as it is today, so the fate of this blog is up to them now. I'll still be around as a Moderator you all know and love of course, so I'll still be doing that. Why exactly? You may have already seen, but I don't really have enough free time to keep this blog updated all the time, so I think it would be better for other trusted authors to blog instead of me.
It's really been an honour to see this blog grow and develop across the whole year. I have to say, I'm really happy and grateful I made this blog. It's been quite an amazing experience!

The Beginning of a New Journey
UPDATE: In respect of Club Penguin Rewritten's closure, The Vintage Coffee Shop will not relaunch until after the game has closed. I'm rushing into stuff at the minute, so enjoy the game while it's still there!
Hey penguins.
I don't know if you've caught up with the latest news, but Club Penguin Rewritten is closing soon. This is saddening news to all, including myself who has been playing it since last February. 4 days ago the blog turned 1 year old, but we didn't celebrate the anniversary of this blog because it has been dead for the past month or so due to the team being inactive. The CPR Coffee Shop was the beginning of my journey on CPR and got me where I am today, and I'm extremely grateful for that. We've been through so much tough times and it doesn't end here.
Fortunately, I will be continuing to use this blog for another CPPS called Vintage Penguin. I hope this doesn't change your opinion on the blog and I hope you consider playing it. It's very similar to CPR but set around the 2005 - 2008 and has lots of potential as well as plenty custom content. So for now on, the blog will now be called The Vintage Coffee Shop.
The banners and other things connected to the blog will change shortly, but as I can't edit the Twitter, that might take a bit longer.

Along with this, the blog should be back to posting regular updates. They should be much easier to keep track of now since Vintage Penguin updates far less than CPR did, so no threat!

Winter Party 2018 Guide
Hello all!
It's finally here - the Winter Party has started! Only part of the island has been decorated for the occasion - so let's have a look, shall we?
First, let's go to the Ice Rink.
Wow! I like these winter-themed balloons all over the Rink. Anyway, let's move on and go to the Ski Hill.
Hey, look! It seems that Rory was kind enough to give out some free hats on the Ski Hill!
And in case you haven't noticed, there's a new Game Upgrades catalogue for Sled Racing!
Now we're done here, let's head down the Ski Hill. I'm sure you know what's coming next, right?
The Great Snow Maze!
In this section, I'll be covering how to complete the Great Snow Maze. I won't go into full details with it, as it'll take up too much time, so I'll just give you a hint on how to complete it.
You can travel over and underneath paths that overlap.
If you've followed that hint, then you should end up in this cave below. Collect the Yeti suit, and you've completed the Great Snow Maze!

Club Penguin Times Issue #47
Hello all!
Well, fact me till I fart - the new Club Penguin Times is out!
On the front cover of this week's Club Penguin Times, we can see information about the upcoming Penguin Play Awards, the In Focus section, and a review of the new Winter Party.
On the first page of the paper, we can see a review of the Winter Fiesta, which at the time of writing has only just begun!
The second page has information about the Penguin Play Awards, which looks very exciting indeed! I hope Quest of the Golden Puffle will win like the last 2 times we had the Awards.
Next up, we have the In Focus section. This week, it focuses on Sled Racing at the Ski Hill - good job it's not the Test Run!
Next up, there's Ask Aunt Arctic, featuring questions from I-Shy and R.E. Porter.
The next page has Jokes, Riddles and a review of the Cart Surfer revamp by Moee - is he any relation to Joee?
The page after that has Puzzle Shuffle and Poetry.
The next page has some artwork sent in by The Incredible Hulk (aka Bruce Banner), and it looks...interesting.

Cart Surfer Update!
Hello all!
A new Cart Surfer update has been released, exclusive to Club Penguin Rewritten, and with a lot of new changes! Let's check it out, shall we?
If we go to the Mine and enter the game, we can see that the game's menu has been updated!
Hardcore mode has also been released! Here, you have as much time as you want to perform tricks, but you only have one life. If you crash, then you'll need to restart.
There are also four new stamps that can only be earned in Hardcore mode: Surfing Pro, Minecart Master, Hardcore Hero, and Unbeatable.
The stamps aren't actually too hard to get as I managed to obtain the Surfing Pro stamp on my second try! My suggestion is to try lots of backflips and spins.
The other new feature is the leaderboard! Every Sunday, the scores are reset, and you can only get on the leaderboard if you earn the most points in one run during the week.
If you manage to get first place on the leaderboard, you will be sent a postcard and a pin! Stu posted this picture on his Twitter account, showing the postcard and pin.
The pin looks epic - I can definitely see the competition to earn this! It's extremely rare among penguins at the moment, but over time, more and more penguins will earn it.
Overall, I think this update is really cool! And while the stamps are easy to get, the leaderboard is going to keep me competitive until I receive that pin!
